India rules out joint probe on Mumbai attacks


NEW DELHI: India said Monday it had handed over evidence on the Mumbai attacks to Islamabad.Addressing a press conference here, Indian Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Memon ruled out joint investigation with Pakistan and vowed to go to any extent for the evidence of Mumbai attacks. Memon again alleged that Mumbai attack was planned in Pakistan, adding that evidence collected from the lone survivor Ajmal Kasab, had also been provided to Pakistan.

Suspect US spy killed in S Waziristan


WANA: Militants shot dead a man in South Waziristan, suspect of spying for the United States on Wednesday. According to sources, a bullet-riddled body of an alleged US spy was found dumped in Warsak. Meanwhile, militants fired rockets at FC fort in Jandola area. Security forces retaliate the fire. However, no loss of life was reported. Also, in Jandola, officials recovered three missiles and defused them.

75 more hostages freed in Kurram Agency


PESHAWAR: Seventy-five more persons made hostage by tribes have been released here brought the number of hostages released to 159 since Tuesday.According to sources, armed men killed one, injured another person and kidnapped three others near Hangu two days back. They were belonged to Kurram Agency.After the incident, Tori and Bangesh tribes abducted dozens of people belonged to each other’s clan among which 75 were released today.
